WICEN Tas (Sth) members and Radio and Electronics Association of Southern Tasmania Inc members voted to amalgamate the two associations under the REAST Inc. Association. This was completed with the cancellation of WICEN Tasmania (South) Incorporation on 5 February 2025.

REAST has created a WICEN Sub-Committee that is charged with managing events that in the past would have been a WICEN Tas (South) event and the sub-commmittee is keen to continue to support community events with their radio skill and knowledge.

The WICEN website (wicentas.org) has been moved across to the REAST Website (https://www.reast.asn.au/wicen/) and a Domain Redirect put in place whilst we sort through the WICEN content and bring it across to the REAST website.

The domain (wicentas.org) will cease to exist in 12 months time (April 2026).
