Focus on Foundation Licencees Forum
The REAST Committee will be holding a Foundation Licence Focus night on 2nd March 2022 and want to get as many of our new (and old) Foundation Licence holders along as well as our experienced operators to share their collective experiences about getting on the air.To kick things off we are asking our Foundation Licence holders to come up with a list of 10 key discussion points for the night that Foundation Licensees need to consider to get on the air, things you are finding frustrating, key information sources, places to go, people you can talk with and most importantly the things that are stopping you getting on air, etc.On the night we will run through these points with experienced amateurs in the room who (hopefully!) will be able to point you in the right direction, put you in touch with Elmers, information, videos, equipment, etc.So a call out to our Foundation Licence holders - please email [email protected] your discussion points, your frustrations, areas you need further information on, concerns, problems getting on air, etc. The questions and comments won't be linked back to a submitter so, don't worry about that. We just want to know what is stopping you getting on the air.The night is a sharing forum where we try and link inexperience with experience and help get more Foundation Licensees on the air.Look forward to hearing from you - that email again - [email protected].Hear from you soon.73, REAST Committee
